Our  Story

Our story began 15 years ago when a young basketball coach (Dan McHale) spotted a standout star player (Jaren Sina) and developed a relationship which unknowingly at the time represented the birth of CRC.

Since then, we have developed a unique approach to evaluating, mentoring, and securing college placements.

We understand how difficult and overwhelming the process can be. That’s why we provide personalized advice to athletes and parents, helping them connect with college coaches to make unbiased, informed decisions that are best for their future.

It has been our honor to help many athletes navigate the recruitment process and secure college athletic careers.

Dan McHale

Dan McHale is a native of Chatham, New Jersey, and has over 20 years of Division I College coaching experience. He has been fortunate to have worked with the best coaches in the industry. McHale has coached nine NBA players as well as multiple all-conference players in his notable stops in the Big East, Big 10, and SEC.

McHale was one of the youngest Division 1 Head Coaches in the country when he was named Head Coach at Eastern Kentucky University at age 35. In his first year, he broke the school record for PPG (avg 82 ppg) and 3 Point percentage (39%).

As a Division 1 recruiter for 20+ years, Dan knows the recruiting landscape from a coach's lens and understands the compliance and recruiting calendar better than anyone.

Jaren Sina

Jaren Sina is a Somerset County, New Jersey native. Jaren was a stand-out high school basketball player. As a 4-star rated recruit, Jaren earned a spot in ESPN's top 100 recruits.

Jaren chose Seton Hall to start his college basketball career. Named to the Big East All-Rookie team his freshman year, Jaren was ranked in the top 10 in the Big East Conference for three-pointers. Jaren finished his college career at George Washington University, landing in the Atlantic Conference’s top 10.

Jaren then began his professional basketball career and along the path, played for elite Estonia, France, Austria, and Poland teams. While starting for the Kosovo national team, Jaren competed against current NBA players including Goran Dragic and Luka Doncic.

Jaren intimately understands the high school, college, and professional player process.

Dan and Jaren's Journey

Dan and Jaren's unique partnership spans decades.   It began with Dan supporting Jaren in the same way that CRC supports athletes today.
